School Yearbooks and Summer Updates

Good evening Ward families,

 

I hope that you are enjoying your summer so far and that you are continuing to be safe! Please read below for information regarding school yearbooks and summer updates from HCPS.

 

School Yearbooks

Our yearbooks will be arriving soon in limited quantities. Yearbook costs are $20. If you haven’t already, please order your copy at https://wardpta.new.memberhub.store/store (credit card payment only). If you are paying by cash or check, please email Wardptatreasurer@gmail.com to reserve your copy and pay on pickup day.

 

Yearbooks will be sold on a first come first serve basis. Any books purchased after July 17th will be sold at $25. You may pick-up your yearbooks at our drive thru pickup that will be on Ward’s bus loop July 17th from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Thank you for your support!

 

Summer Learning Opportunities

This summer, there are learning opportunities available for your child to help them practice academic skills throughout the summer.

ALL students may access summer academic programming through HCPS’s Edflix Season 3 which will begin on July 13. Click here to access all of Edflix Season 3 activities for each grade level.  These offerings are being made available to prepare all students for the start of the next school year with additional LifeReady learning experiences through several pathways. What’s important and different from previous years is that content review and enrichment experiences are being made available to all students.

Please also note that all students continue have access through CLEVER to the following digital resources for your child:  BrainPOP, TumbleBook Library, NearPod, Study Island, SmartyAnts, ImagineMath, Wixie, WeVideo, PebbleGoNext, StorylineOnline, LexiaCore5 Reading, RAZ Plus.  Your child just needs to login through Clever to utilize these great resources.   

 

Student Registration

We will begin accepting calls to schedule appointments for student registration beginning July 13th. Beginning on July 13th, our summer office hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. For the safety of our parents and staff, you must call to schedule an appointment to register your child or children. Safety protocols for student registration will be reviewed when you call to schedule your appointment.
